[Memphis Reads 2015] Memphis Reads Kickoff Friday September 25, 2015 at 11 a.m.
Mark your calendars so you don’t miss all the exciting events scheduled for this year’s Memphis Reads program!
Memphis Reads selects one book annually to be read by Memphis readers with the goal of building our community and promoting literacy- one book at a time. This month-long community read will culminate with a book talk with renown author and business entrepreneur Dave Eggers on Thursday, November 5 to be held at the Creative Arts Building at the Fairgrounds.
Please join Memphis Public Library and Mayor A C Wharton for the Memphis Reads Kick-off event and Press Conference Friday, September 25 at 11:00 am at Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library.
· Title of the book selected will be announced
· The first fifty Library customers to arrive will receive a free copy!
