[Memphis Reads 2015] Christian Brothers University's Fresh Reads 2015 Top Ten Essays
The Memphis Public Library has partnered with Christian Brothers University again to present the top ten winning essays from CBU's Fresh Reads contest. (What is Fresh Reads?)
The Fresh Reads Summer Reading programs allows all CBU freshmen, underclassmen, and faculty to read the same "engaging and thought provoking" book. After reading the book, incoming freshmen are encouraged to "consider the issues it raises and respond to it with an essay." This year's selection was What is the What: The Autobiography of Valentino Achak Deng by Dave Eggers.
