Author Rebecca Vnuk shares her thoughts about the genre women's fiction:
“It’s incredibly difficult to pin down exactly what women’s fiction is (or what it isn’t) because everyone seems to have a different take on it ....[i]t’s not even really a genre; it’s a reading interest.”

Visit Women of Library History created by the Feminist Task Force of the American Library Association. Be sure to scroll though previous posts to learn about some amazing women, especially the Pack Horse Librarians (New Deal Network photos), an amazing library outreach service during the Great Depression.

View the long list of nominees for the 2013 Women's Prize for Fiction, formerly the Orange Prize. According to this article at The Guardian, this is the only year the award will carry this name.
