[Quick Picks] Black History Month: The Autobiography of Malcolm X

THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF MALCOLM Xby Malcolm X with Alex Haley

This book gives an in-depth look into one of the 20th century's greatest African-American leaders. It starts of with young Malcolm in rural Nebraska and then follows him all the way to Detroit, Boston, prison, and New York. It covers his childhood, teenage years, and adulthood. This is a good read, especially for young men, because you witness Malcolm go from a troubled youth to adult career criminal, and ultimately transform into a devoutly religious man living a disciplined life who would have an impact on millions.
