[Quick Picks] Black History Month: The Autobiography of Malcolm X
THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF MALCOLM X, by Malcolm X with Alex Haley
This book gives an in-depth look into one of the 20th century's greatest
African-American leaders. It starts of with young Malcolm in rural Nebraska and then follows him all the way to Detroit , Boston , prison,
and New York .
It covers his childhood, teenage years, and adulthood. This is a good read, especially for young men, because you witness Malcolm go from a troubled youth to adult career criminal, and ultimately transform into a devoutly religious
man living a disciplined life who would have an impact on millions.
