Two books that might be of interest were announced as winners of the 2012 National Book Awards on November 14, 2012.
The Round House by Louise Erdrich won the National Book Award for Fiction
Behind The Beautiful Forevers: Life, Death And Hope In A
Mumbai Undercity by Katherine Boo was the Non-Fiction winner of the National
Book Award. It is available as a
downloadable e-book from the library.
