This is actually one of my favorite books. The language is beyond coarse and the situation with Precious Jones is beyond graphic. But if the readers can deal with that, then I believe they will actually be inspired by Precious' plight to better herself. In fact, one of my favorite quotes comes from this great book: "Every blade of grass has an angel that bends over and whispers, Grow, Grow." (The Talmud)
