If you're looking for a way to catalog the books you've read or plan to read, take a look at BookRiot's Goodreads v. LibraryThing Part One  and Part Two. Blogger Amanda Nelson compares the two most popular social networking catalog sites, Goodreads and LibraryThing.

In early August, Flavorwire profiled Gorgeous Photos of People Reading Around the World from a collection presented by photojournalist Steve McCurry. Also mentioned is one of my favorite photo blogs, Underground New York Public Library. This site chronicles a diverse mix of people reading books and e-readers on the subways in New York.
