[Library Events and Programs] Great Conversations: A Massacre in Memphis Session March 22
Mark your calendars for another Great Conversations session taught by Rhodes College scholars on March 22, 2016.

On Tuesday, March 22, 2016, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library (3030 Poplar Avenue, room L-56), customers will learn about A Massacre in Memphis: The Bloody Race Riot of 1866. Dr. Timothy Huebner, Irmo O. Sternberg professor and Rhodes College History Department chairman, will teach about the May 1866 mass murders of more than 40 African-American men and women following the American Civil War.
