[Awards] Man Booker Prize 2012

BRING UP THE BODIES by Hilary Mantel is this year's winner of The Man Booker Prize.  (Full story)

The Man Booker Prize was created to "promote the finest in fiction by rewarding the best novel of the year written by a citizen of the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth or the Republic of Ireland." (Award history)

According to the Man Booker website she joins Peter Carey and J.M. Coetzee as a two-time recipient of the prize and the first author to win the award for a sequel.
